Cheap bass drum skin printing in NC?

nikrobins asked:

I need to figure out how to make a big logo (my band logo) to stick on the front of my drummer's bass drum, something like a silk screen maybe. I thought Kinko's might work in that field, but the one nearest to where I live is fairly far away and I wanted to figure out if they actually do that before I go all the way over there.
So can someone tell me how to get a bass drum skin printed for around $100 or less in North Carolina, without it having to be delivered?
Thanks in advance.

Violet asked:

These days, it seems anyone can be an "author" and have a book published with the possibility of descent distribution... (or what ever it means to "sell a lot"). Maybe because there are many relatively cheap vanity presses that make that possible.

But, what about an artist (with no contacts or knowledge in the textile industry) who wants to "publish" a textile design intended for wall paper, upholstery, and carpets?
It's easy enough to make up the design by hand painting, silk screening, printing via the photo copier, etc. It's easy enough to advertise via the internet with venues like Etsy. But, what about large scale ambitions?
where do you go? Who do you contact? Where and whom do you show your designs?
As a last resort, are there inexpensive vanity presses for the textile designer?

I have some great ideas that I think could really fly. Any ideas?
Thanks!
